My name is Alessandra and the Nautico Hotel has been in my family since 1969. It was originally my mum’s – Verdiana. When she got married to my dad, Carlo, in 1972, it became first a couple and then a family business.
I grew up here, among the many loving guests that always come to visit us (one of our historical couples has never missed a summer, since 1969!). Over time, the Nautico Hotel has grown, risen and renovated. I tried to follow my path, albeit always with a foot in here. I pursued my career and had a fair run, but I always had it in my heart, until I decided to devote myself to it, full time. Maybe because I’m an only child and this hotel is part of my family… is like a brother to me!
Today, I’m lucky enough to raise my children in this holiday retreat: Luca, Agata and Anita, the hotel’s mascot. My husband, Filippo, helps me in the evening and on the weekend: a precious support and an expert advisor for all our guests that are passionate about mountain bike, his favourite hobby.
Today, my mum, Verdiana, and my dad, Carlo, are still the backbone of the Nautico Hotel. My mum is always working in the kitchen (even little children fall in love with her dishes!) and my dad is vital in keeping everything under check and understanding our guests’ needs!
